Osteopressure treatment according to Liebscher & Bracht

Osteopressure treatment according to Liebscher & Bracht is a therapy method based on the assumption that many pains in the body are due to muscular imbalances and muscular shortening. Through special pressure techniques at certain points, these muscular imbalances are to be compensated and thus pain relieved.
The aim of osteopressure treatment is to normalise the state of tension in the muscles and thus eliminate the cause of the pain. Special pressure techniques are used, in which certain points in the muscle tissue are pressed with the fingers or special aids. These points are referred to as ‘pain points’ because they are often said to be active when there is pain.
Osteopressure is usually applied in conjunction with special exercises aimed at maintaining the newly gained muscle mobility and strength. With regular application, it is intended to release muscular shortening, improve posture and provide long-term pain relief.
